The greatly anticipated Prime Meridian Way will officially be opened in April next year. The trail will circumnavigate the globe, taking in a host of many spectacular sights including climbing out of the massive Airy Crater to reach the heights of the Salt Flats on Mount Sharp and the arduous crossings of two poles, will take great perseverance. There will be so many vistas to leave you breathless.

Due to the remarkable pristine nature of the terrain, the trail is intended to quickly become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The opportunity to walk the Prime Meridian Way has already aroused the curiosity of many of the world's elite adventurers. A great deal of effort has been invested into ensuring that this will be the ultimate pet-friendly trail, so it is worth considering taking Rover along too! The Way has already been dubbed the 'One Man and His Dog Trail' and what could be better being a sojourner with your best friend?!!

The astronomical costs involved in getting to the trail provide the main barrier for many. Walkers must also strictly adhere to the Leave no Trace ethos so as not to effect the delicate local biodiversity by introducing any alien species. The complete lack of atmosphere will slow down proceedings so it is essential to have a good group spirit and camaraderie.

When Elon Musk gets his fleet off the ground, you can finally look forward to booking your first ticket to Mars and enjoy the trail of a lifetime.
